ENRICHMENT TUTORING
Is your kid getting enough feedback on their writing at school? My experience encompasses both creative writing and non-fiction projects.
HOMESCHOOL FAMILIES
I work with homeschooling families and with kids who are out of school because of illness or travel. My approach is “reading and writing across the curriculum” which means that I integrate writing assignments with other subject matter. For example, I have one student who loves making slime. I’m mentoring her as she researches the history of slime and writes up her findings.
I particularly enjoy working with kids on interdisciplinary projects that encompass history and science.
COLLEGE ESSAY COACHING FOR
HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
My goal is to help your student find the words to convey something unique about themselves and their world view. We’ll brainstorm and work out an outline for the essay. Once your student has a draft then I’ll give feedback about how to fine-tune the essay while staying true to the original intention.
